Gentex Electronics Recycling Event Diverts Landfill Waste

The Gentex community turned out in large numbers on June 17 to recycle their old electronics in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly way. The fifth annual Gentex Electronics Recycling event allowed employees, their families, and their friends to bring in and dispose of a wide variety of hard-to-recycle electronics at no cost. The event takes place each year in partnership with Green Earth Electronics Recycling. 

Employees brought in old refrigerators, freezers, television sets, computers, tablets, phones and more!

All items entrusted to Green Earth Electronics Recycling are kept out of the landfill. The company finds different avenues to reuse, refurbish, and recycle.
